HookedSpice level, tropes & is it dark romance?
Spice 4/5 (Explicit) · Darkness 4/5 (Pitch) · 6 trigger warnings flagged · Series: Never After
Hooked is Peter Pan with the villain holding the pen. James wants to ruin his enemy, Peter Michaels, and when Peter's twenty-year-old daughter Wendy walks into his bar he sees a way in: seduce her, use her, finish the job. The plan does not survive her. Emily McIntire calls the Never After books fractured fairy tales, not retellings, and says plainly that the lead is a villain with no redemption arc coming. This note is ours. It is not a publisher blurb.
First published: 2021 (republished by Bloom Books in 2022). Book 1 of Never After.
