ScarredSpice level, tropes & is it dark romance?
Spice 4/5 (Explicit) · Darkness 4/5 (Pitch) · 7 trigger warnings flagged · Series: Never After
Scarred is book two of Never After, Emily McIntire's dark fairy-tale series, and this one takes the story behind The Lion King into a royal court. Prince Tristan Faasa wears the scar his brother gave him and leads a rebellion to take the crown before Michael can. Lady Sara Beatreaux arrives to marry the new king with orders of her own: end the Faasa line. The man she is warned away from is one of her targets. Forbidden, enemies to lovers, and a villain hero who means it. This note is ours. It is not a publisher blurb.
First published: 4 January 2022; later reissued by Bloom Books. Book 2 of Never After.
