PhantasmaSpice level, tropes & is it dark romance?

Shelf note by Zade Masked

Phantasma is a death game in a haunted mansion. Ophelia Grimm enters to win a single wish and get her missing sister back: nine trials, rivals who want her gone, a house that makes new monsters every day, and a charming stranger called Blackwell who offers to guide her through for the price of ten years of her life. Gothic, bloody, and sold as romantasy. The dark here is the house more than the hero. This note is ours. It is not a publisher blurb.

First published: 3 September 2024. Book 1 of Wicked Games.
