Grouped in the open, because this is the warning page. On the book page the same flags stay behind a tap.

Chaotic spice level

Spice 5/5 · Scorching. Frequent, graphic, the point of many chapters. The scorching shelf.

Darkness

Darkness 5/5 · No light. The book is not interested in pulling the punch.

Graphic

Torture Deliberate infliction of pain. Not a fade-to-black fight.
Breath play Breath restriction appears in a sexual context.
Trafficking People are bought, sold, or moved as property.
Sexual assault Sexual violence is part of the story. Read only if you want that on the page.
Gore Injuries and crime scenes described in graphic physical detail.
Degradation Humiliation and demeaning language or acts, usually sexual.

Moderate

Taboo A forbidden adult dynamic, often stepfamily or a power line readers flag. Everyone on the page is an adult. This library does not include minors.
Violence Fights, assaults, or bloodshed that is part of the plot, not a metaphor.
Murder Characters kill, or a killing sits at the centre of the book.
Abuse Emotional, physical, or sexual abuse, sometimes in a character's past, sometimes on the page.

Minor

Death Named characters die, or death is a constant of the world.
Grief Mourning is a real part of the book, not a one-line backstory.
Kink On-page kink beyond vanilla sex. Check the author's own note for specifics.
