Books like The Never King

Peter Pan, all grown up, and the lost boys aren't boys anymore. The Never King is a dark why-choose retelling, and once you've read it, Neverland never looks innocent again. Good. Innocence is overrated. If the fairy-tale twist and a handful of morally grey heroes is your idea of a perfect night, I've lined up more. Turn the page and don't look back.

The read-alikes below share that weather: Why choose / reverse harem, Dark romantasy, Morally grey heroes. Spice on The Never King is 4 of 5. Darkness is 3 of 5. Picks are scored on shared tropes, spice, darkness and trigger warnings, with no more than two from any one author. Each reason is ours, not a copied review.
