Books like Heavy

M.L. Burns gives Heavy a mafia killer and a heroine held captive. Serial killer romance, captivity, utterly lightless and graphic. The title describes the reading experience too. For readers wanting a crime story at its most unforgiving, this is the one. Captivity with a killer is never light reading. Every scene presses on you, deliberately and relentlessly.

The read-alikes below share that weather: Mafia dark romance, Captive romance, Serial killer romance, Morally grey heroes, Enemies to lovers, Forbidden romance. Spice on Heavy is 4 of 5. Darkness is 5 of 5. Picks are scored on shared tropes, spice, darkness and trigger warnings, with no more than two from any one author. Each reason is ours, not a copied review.
